Julia Daser is a NYC-based artist working at the borders between fine arts, data, and robotics.
Growing up in a post-truth era where science's power to shape public opinion decreases, and academic jargon makes it harder to understand science, Julia aims to make data more legible and engaging to diverse audiences. Breaking out of traditional data visualization techniques, she creates interactive, multi-sensory representations of scientific concepts and data using electronics, physical fabrication, and code.
I believe in transparency and public art, which is why I make the methodology, code, and building instructions of all projects completely open-sourced to the public on Github and Youtube.
